I am not sure if you are serious (hopefully you're not) but I never claimed that R6S has bigger population than CSGO. I claimed that R6S has just doubled the number of players in the game. Most of the newer FPS games die in the first year of their introduction, R6S is an exception, moreover there are even more players than I could even expected.

Furthermore, CSGO is since 2012 (5 years old), R6S is not even 1 year old, are you really trying to compare a new game towards an old game?

Adding to that, if steam numbers are correct, CSGO is losing players.

Even though R6S is only 1 year old game, if people liked it enough much, they would PLAY it. If people liked it even MORE than CSGO, then people would play it even more than CSGO. So in that case, R6S maybe wouldn't reach that high point just like CSGO did, but it'd at least have double or even triple more players compared to this moment right now

Do you have a computer that can handle R6S? Many people don't, including cyka blyat people that are half of the CSGO community. R6S doesn't need teens in the game, I am happy with having majority of 18+ people here that bought a computer for themselves .

To answer your question, R6S is way more expensive than CSGO, CSGO is way more famous than R6S. I never claimed that R6S will kill CSGO (neither will otherwise), because those are 2 different games. It is matching apples and pineapples.

TL;DR CSGO has larger playerbase (slowly dying), R6S is not a dead game.

Wouldn't really call it 5 years old. Most players played either Cs 1.6 or cs:s, so counter-strike is much older than that.

Also there is actually no rule about game being old to achieve large playerbase. CSGO hasn't achieved such large playerbase because it is 5 years old meaning that it had more time to achieve so much players.. R6S can die in 5 years or rise in 5 years, so your point that CSGO has more players because it is 4 years older than R6S is ridiculous. No rule about that. CSGO is by far the best FPS game and is recognized by players and large ESL events followed. Even CS:S has large playerbase. Just wait for next operation on CSGO and watch the playerbase rise to the heavensss. Too bad I was forced to quit because my PC is utter shit.

When is the operation coming? I am looking forward to see changes regarding the playerbase, if it happens.

Also, CSGO has hit a number of 100k in 1.5 years (January 2014) of its existence. (as Jawzom implied, there was CS:S and CS1.6 before, so even 1.5 years is actually even a bigger number!)

It is a common sense that a newer game won't have immediately 300k+ active players on every time. It has to pass some time to people get to know about the game. There are still loads of people that do not know anything about R6S, when I show them the game, they always ask me what is this game + add to that, R6S is way more expensive than CSGO (as it requires a solid computer + the game itself is around $30ish)

If you found aimbot for samp and used it, you'll probably try use aimbot on CSGO.

I'm only rank 3 because I stopped playing then I did the challenge thing when you reach level 40.

I'm just saying that CS managed to become a FPS classic that will hardly die in near future. I myself am looking for buying R6S for PS4 when I see good opportunity to get it cheap. I love that game aswell because it is tactical and intense.
