I believe if the culprit is allowed to abuse a bug and get away with it, let the SWAT also abuse a bug. Why do we differentiate here? The same can be said for the culprit too
But if you keep g-ing then you're just being an censored because you fully knew he was "dragging" and kept g abusing him then you're purposely bug abusing.
So yeah, if the culprit does it, I should have the right to spam /drag as many times as possible until it's successful. That sounds fair, doesn't it?
Also, before you start on the argument that SWAT are experienced and mature players while all crims are not, most people who do this are the experienced ones, and the new ones (the ones we call noobs) play by the rules.

If someone is abusing a bug then why stoop down to there level just to get him in jail? If he really is bug abusing then report it also with this bug there are methods around it which is basically what I'm saying, you don't have to resort to technical score boosting to get him in jail. That's why you have police and army they're on the same team as you. you still got the drag score and the guy gets ether killed or arrested. Ether way he doesn't really benefit from exploiting a bug if you use the methods that are given to you.
Indognito wrote:If he really is bug abusing then report itWe're basically asking for it to be made into a rule, so that we can report people for it. I believe we're on the same side, are we not?

dodger wrote:here's something that popped into my brilliant mindThey G to owned vehicles like NRGs. So we have to get on that owned bike and /eject id before wr get auto ejected, hence the suggestion. Anf then they G back and that's the annoying part
(only applies mostly for when you are teaming since I doubt you'll be able to pull it off solo)
have 1 guy stay by the wanted to make sure he's cuffed, have the driver be at a close distance but not close enough for the wanted to g, and then have the driver come out and /drag. if sus is able to /bc then the other member tazes, and do the same process again. should be foolproof but these days idk what is.
hopefully it will solve all of these pointless topics and all this fights whether it is cop v criminal or criminal v cop, it's getting ridiculous to see this shit come up all the time not only in forums but in game as well (happened even when I wasn't banned)
feel free to lmk how impossible this is to do and how much more difficult it makes swat's job.
edit: also i just noticed you said that the wanteds were using g when cuffed, doesn't that make your job easier lol just drive to the checkpoint

dodger wrote:Ah, but you can push the nrg* or whatever out of the way. I do see now how it may be annoying but jic this doesn't get implemented or whatnot I think my tactic if used properly could still work.Your tactic is exactly how we do it. But pull has a cool down, G abuse doesn't. So even if we pull them, they'll spam G again. Now, you'll say that we should be able to drag them in that time, but /drag id vs one key is tough, and if both happen at the same time, player gets bugged and SWAT accused of boosting. Hence the suggestion.
Best of luck with it
edit: maybe you can use /pull combined with my tactic idk

dodger wrote:again no need to come at me guns blazing, follow my advice and just calm down kekOnly reason there's a fight between you and the others is cause of the ambiguity. Look, your arguments are currently speaking in a way that since there are ways to go against G-Abuse, no need for it to be made an abuse. That's like saying just cause there are ways to escape getting killed, murder should be legal. That's not how it works, that's all Nikola is saying.
anyways, seriously speaking, if you are teaming with a cop and a cop is unable to deal with someone doing this he is HIGHLY incompetent. can't say the same for a swat member because after all /drag is a bit more time consuming than /ar (obviously), but at least from when I remember being one the one problem i remember the most were people who would just /q. We had no problems, or at least I didn't, with this "g abuse". if it is so much of a deal for current members, then I suppose that what needs to happen will happen and this will most likely be labeled abuse.
before you come at my throat trying to strangle me once again:
a) if staff team decides that it is indeed "abuse", great. it should carry an appropriate punishment and it should be enforced
b) im not siding with any group, not with the people who do it nor the people that they do it against (this case you swats)
c) even before my ban and whatnot I saw too much whining (please dont take this personal as it is not directed to any specific member) but then again not only swat is doing it but most players online rn.
as a final post now, hopefully i wont recieve an over the top reaction this time, i really do think that the right outcome will be taken, so if you really do see this as abuse I would suggest to calmly wait until staff reaches a conclusion, whether it is one that you wanted or one that you disliked.
gl and hf,
dodge
