I disagree with this completely.
I can't really be bothered to discuss the reasons why, but Linux has a much wider range of customisation and privacy options.
You really can chose what you want to do and see / have someone else see, with Windows, Since Win 10 I feel there's something watching me so I take extra care.
I trust Chrome on my phone more than on my PC now since this lol

You kind of sound like a conspiracy theorist if you don't believe that this will do the trick. So be it. I don't rely on some stupid sliders to know whether I'm being spied on or not. You don't know shit about privacy, do you?

I'm quite unknown with Linux honestly, might give it a try on a VM but not sure if it's a bit of an overkill for me in optionsIt's not as complicated as people make it out to be. Most user-friendly distros like *ubuntu, Mint, Fedora, openSUSE and others are really intuitive and hassle-free. Of course, there are DIY-distros like Arch, Gentoo and such (I'm personally using Arch) where you can customize about everything you want and in the process learn a lot about how GNU/Linux really works.
For Mac, my mom had one running the newest MacOS and we both hate it, she was quite sad of the huge spending she did and wanted to sell the Mac because of the OS on it. I was like 'eh lemme put Windows on what shit' and so I did. What does she usually do on a computer? And does she like Windows on a Mac?
For Windows 10, yeah a shitload of Microsoft spyware and that's why I'm sticking with my good old Windows 7.Don't forget, Microsoft's pushing telemetry shit to Win 7/8.1 too, sadly. Eventually they'll force you to use Windows 10, like it or not. I'm curious as to what you're gonna do then.
