Your name: GalaxyGeri
Suggestion headline: As long as taxi is a bit active these days, its hard and sometimes impossible to find the exact location of somebody, even with /loc. So, we could add a command ''/requestaccept {id}'' to accept a /request taxi. When we accept, it would be shown a message to the one which requested and it would be added a yellow marker in the taxis map, of the exact location of the one which requested taxi
Picture: Keep the picture in this
Spoiler: show
Importance of suggestion: 3/10 (Shows how much it would mean to server/players)
Why should it be accepted: Its explained in suggestion headline

I'd say -1. It is supposed to make it more RPish that way and the taxi driver should get an approximate location (like it is now) so that he/she has to travel and look around for his passenger. This would be very easy if the passenger stays still, but even if he does not his location will be updated every time the /list equivalent of the taxi class (people who asked for a taxi) is entered.

Agreed and it's more fun that was as well.

I'd have to go with rally3's reply. It's more roleplayish. Besides the people aren't that hard to find. If you know the samp/lsrcr map they'll be easy to spot. If not then ask your customer for landmarks or anything that can give you an idea as to where you're at

Ex:

blockmaster (12) I can't find you I know you're in sf but where exactly?

Indognito (76) the closest shop to my location is the tuff nut doughnut shop. Meet me there.

Communication is key to This problem if ether you or him choose not to communicate then that's gonna pose a problem for both parties.

So with that I'm going with a -1

Thanks for your opinions!
I thought of this idea, because i was staying close to the army ship and my location was ''Los Santos'', and i have to move a bit, so my location gets updated to ''Verdants Bluffs''. Los Santos is a really large territory and the taxi could get confused. That is why i came up with this idea,

However, i fully support everyone opinions and thank them for taking their time! :D

Now that I think of it you are right, the Location on the command or even on your screen sometimes shows up as something too vague, like "Los Santos". However, you can ask the player for landmarks or something like someone else said or also when u /loc that player id, the audio will say a more specific area. I've experimented with this audio thing and I'm pretty much sure it does work.

I hide in spots with location unknown. They are all around SA however if they are in a spot you can always try to communicate with the player. If they happen to be in a spot like that, pm them asking for a brief description of where they are. If they say "Army Ship" you'll know where to go.

I agree with Dodger and the rest. It's better as it is now, more fun. If a player's location is not that clear e.g Los Santos, you may ask them for landmarks.
