Bought R6S on PS4

Is it true that after the DLC, R6S on PS4 is terrible (PC is doing all fine, that is why I am asking)? Many complaints on reddit and most of the times they're over exaggerating

Steam playerbase only
On the weekends, there were cca 50,000 players online at one time (steam only, uPlay numbers are even bigger). It was not free weekend (it was 8-9 days ago). Just in one week, the playerbase was doubled. Impresive!
