List of bank locations

There are numerous city banks scattered across the whole of San Andreas: two in Los Santos, one in Las Venturas and one in San Fierro. Below is a list of banks and the cities they are located in. You can also click on the location name to be transferred to an external website which provides more information on where you can find it and its location on the main map.

Unfortunately, only one bank in the whole of San Andreas is rob-able, and that is the one at the Conference Center. Please click here if you would like to be transferred to the section explaining how you can rob the bank.

Please note that banks are only open between 08:00 and 21:00.

List of ATM locations

In total, there are eight accessible ATMs throughout the whole of San Andreas. An ATM allows you withdraw cash out of your account and view your current bank statement. Below is a list of ATMs and the cities they are located in. Once again, please feel free to click on the location name to be transferred to an external website which provides more information and shows where it is located on the map, if you're unsure where to find it.

Banking services

There are many services you can use at the bank, much more compared to that of an ordinary ATM. To access these services, simply enter any bank across San Andreas and walk into the red checkpoint. However, if you're at the main back located at the Conference Center, you should press [F] infront of the counter. You can then choose from a list of following options -


Deposit money
Allows you to deposit cash into your account

Withdraw money
Allows you to withdraw cash from your account

Check bank balance
Allows you to view the amount of money in your account

Claim insurance money
Allows you to claim back stolen money from your account, but you must first have bank insurance

Buy bank insurance
Allows you to purchase insurance which covers against bank robberies (one-off fee of $15k)

Perform a wire transfer
Allows you to transfer a sum of money from your account to any other online user's account

How to rob the bank

Below I will be explaining how you can rob the main city bank located at the Conference Center. However, there's a couple of requirements you need to know beforehand. You'll need to have purchased dynamite supplies, and for that you need atleast 250 score.

---

Step 1. Make sure you have atleast $15k on hand and make your way down to the top floor of the multi-storey car park located in East Beach. You should see a white player icon on your mini-map when close to the area; that is where you need to head to.




Step 2. Upon arrival, you will notice an NPC standing there with a white text label above its head. Approach the NPC and press the [Y] button on your keyboard. A dialog will then appear asking if you would like to purchase supplies for a fee of $15k





Hit enter and then a large dialog will pop up on your screen with a short sub-story. However, you may close that as it isn't really relevant for the moment.


Step 3. Once you've purchased the supplies, you may return back to the bank. Upon entering the bank, head left towards the vault and you will notice a security guard. You will need to bribe the guard $10k to get past him: approach it and press the [F] button. You will then be allowed past him.




Step 4. Once you've bribed the security guard, walk towards the vault door and press the [F] key to place the bomb. Make sure to stand back as the explosion may harm your health. After a couple of seconds, the door will automatically explode and you can then make your way down to the basement.




Step 5. Once you've reached the basement, you will notice another vault door. Do the same thing and plant the bomb on the door using the [F] key. Once again, make sure to stand back.



The secrurity door will then explode and you will be able to enter the vault.


Step 6. When you enter inside the vault, you will notice four money bags laying down on the floor. Choose any bag and press [F] to pick it up. Then run up the stairs, exit the bank and go back to Claude in East Beach.




Step 7. Once you've arrived back at Claude, approach him and press the [Y] button to receive your money.

Tips & extras

Prepare a getaway vehicle beforehand

It's essential you prepare yourself an emergency getaway vehicle beforehand and park it outside the bank as you'll most likely come across police on the way. A helicopter would be perfect getaway vehicle as it not only fits numerous people, you can quickly fly off without fear of being persued by law enforcement. However, don't fly too low as you'll become more vulnerable to gunshots.

Rob the bank in small groups

I would personally recommended robbing the bank in a group and not just by yourself. This is because it is harder for law enforcement to try and take you all down at once, and even if one fails, you've still got three left.

Don't rob the bank as soon as it opens

Law enforcement officers know that most people rob the bank as soon as it opens so you'll have a higher risk of being caught. However, if you leave it for a while and return soon after, you'll find there may be less police patrolling the area.

Don't hang around for too long

As soon as you've got the money bag, make your way out of the bank and quickly flee the area. Go straight to Claude and fast, because law enforcement officers will most likely already be making their way there to try and intercept you.
