Your Name: [Lsrcr]Nikola
Your suggestion: Creating a command for temporary cuffs, executed by S.W.A.T. officers.
Reason: There are lots of hostile players on the server, ones who regardless of you trying to explain it to them, keep on abusing, deathmatching, ramming, etc.

S.W.A.T. cuffs are flawed in this matter, because they do not have time limit, like cop cuffs to, they last for 30 seconds, and person is uncuffed automatically. However this is not the case for S.W.A.T.

My idea is to implement a new command /tcuff (id) (T-emporary + Cuff) lasting for 30 seconds, which will provide us enough time to get away from the hostile player, potentially avoiding loss of dragged suspect, explosion of our vehicle, even the death in the middle of an important transport.

The regular cuffing is usually not very efficient when dealing with these people since it often happens during a raging riot, involving multiple people who had jumped on the S.W.A.T. car, where each and every one is hitting it, kicking you, trying to rob you, and it often can happen that when we do manage to cuff a suspect due to him being hostile, we end up dead, and he is cuffed there for extensive periods of time.

My suggestion is simply put to make us more efficient, and to reduce the time wasted on a hostile players who cannot follow the rules.

Kind regards,
Nikola.

Abuse of cuffs is strictly forbidden. You are, however, allowed to leave a hostile player cuffed. Hostile players include but are not limited to: players punching you (or using other melee weapons), hitmen (if you have a hit), etc.
You can cuff them, drive the suspect to the PD and then go bakc, /rp and /fine as well as informingg them of the rules.

As swat we have the obligation of "wasting time" on others who don't read the rules or don't follow them since we're supposed to set an example.

Well, I know you're a special little snowflake, so I will go step by step with you, although I did try to elaborate it in short lines.
First problem - Driving suspect, then coming back to uncuff:
1. I might not be the driver, and the time it takes to drive to PD and back could be quite big, so the cuffed person would miss out on game-play.
2. I might also die, while other two people are DM-ing me, therefore, the person who is cuffed will have to wait for me to respawn, get to him, uncuff him, etc, once again, taking huge ammounts of time.
3. Person once cuffed on the vehicle can get stuck in the air, or bugged, making uncuffing very difficult, especially while I have a dragged suspect in the car, who can escape any second, or where someone else may ram me, DM also any second.
Second problem - Time it takes to /cuff, /rp, /fine, and explain the rules is massive, altough I do try to address them to what is wrong, I am at risk of losing my suspect in transport, wreck my car due to exposure to other people who are around me, and the list goes on.
1. I always cuff them, and while they are cuffed I suggest that they should read /rules, and /pc, and that DM and ramming is not allowed, also trying to explain in detail what is exactly wrong, that they are doing.
2. As I addressed in my initial post, many of the players who jump on the car, and are hostile, fail to listen, either from just not caring, being newbie, or lack of English understanding, now that also takes huge ammounts of time where I am exposing both myself, and the one who is dragged.
So, to sum up, let's not misinterpret my good will which I do practise all the time with explanations of server rules, and trying to be friendly to them, even though the are destroying my game-play.

And since S.W.A.T. cuffs have unlimited duration, unless you break them, and go wanted, which is why this suggestion is important to me, so that both parties have equal chance of comfortable game-play.

You remain as immature and as clueless as ever. No point even attempting to discuss with someone that can't share an argument without throwing petty little jabs at someone that disagrees with him.

Well this triggered feeling is on you, we've talked over PM and I have explained everything to you, we even came to a conclusion that I like you, and appreciate you being here, but if you cannot take a joke (snowflake), that's all on you.

Regarding the arguments, I think I gave a few good ones, not only for you, but to anyone having issues with understanding my reason for creating this topic.

All best,
Nikola.

You essentially say "I don't want to waste my time to explain to others what should really be done", and don't bother saying you help because helping is not just bloating words at someone and expecting them to go away.

You misinterpret what it means to be SWAT, what it means to be a Tagged member, what truly helping someone is, and many things more. I am not upset at you at all, since this behavior is present throughout many members of the community, I'm upset at the fact that the behavior is there at all.

Anyways, this suggestion will most likely be accepted, and I'm afraid I can't really type anything else as I'll just be deviating the topic.

Yes, in terms of wasting time, and losing the suspect, the score, the fun, etc. And there are those who do not even care to say those words, so to them you can say this, to me you cannot, because I work my ass off to explain how things move around here. But to that I do not need to boast to you.

I do not misinterpret what it means, since I have joined this forum, in order to apply for S.W.A.T., back in 2012, and the main reason I stayed playing on this server is so that I can be S.W.A.T.
I have grown so much, and have learned so much that you cannot even imagine, and I do not plan on stopping, so for you to tell me what I am, and what my state of mind is, regarding something very dear to me, is a complete misjudgement. As for the tag, you also have no idea how severely I have changed my attitude after getting it, and how much more mature I have become, since I am carrying the tag, many people can confirm it, so can you, since we have talked, and I have explained it to you very thoroughly. And for once, stop crying about the tagged members problem, work on fixing it.

Anyways, this suggestion will most likely be accepted, and I'm afraid I can't really type anything else as I'll just be deviating the topic.
I agree, no need to deviate this, and no need to attack me if you are having a bad day, as I can recall, our little talk ended on good terms from both sides, so I do not see why you have the need to change it, and have such a negative tone with me, especially since you obviously do not even know me.
And yes, one more thing, I suggest that you come a bit more active in the skin, so that your commenting on this suggestion is valid.
Isn't in kinda pointless talking about something you are not introduced with, because you hardly ever played as S.W.A.T.
