Earphones mic problem

Hey guys. Now this morning I reset my pc to clear all the files and junk off of it. Now it finished about an hour later and since then I have been trying to fix my mic on my earphones problem. I have tried everything. It doesn't seem to work. Before the reset it worked perfectly fine. The mic on the earphones were clear. Now it doesn't even work. I don't know what to do. I've googled and googled and googled. NOTHING HELPS! So if anyone knows how to fix this. Please help me

1) Right click on the speaker icon in the task bar and select recording devices.
2) In it, Go to recording tab and then select your recording device
3) In it, Go to custom tab and enable microphone boost. Also go to levels tab and adjust microphone sensitivity.
4) Now check your mic. Adjust the sensitivity level until you get satisfied with it.

In there I only get "internal microphone" None others. I have show disabled and disconnected devices but still none of my earphones
