Niceguy he is right admins also play for fun but they do some special efforts to get that rank/position, I thought and i think if you want it you have to unlock it and yes if it will be allow for all rank no one will be active that much how much they are now.

Your logic here is totally wrong mate. There is a reason behind each rank, the more higher rank you are, the more loyal you've been to the faction. About fun part, ribbons are there for fun too, none ribbons asks you to take the game seriously. I'm not going to argue but yeah, ranks does matters.
Lower ranks are not much trusted that is the reason they aren't given much privileges.

Yea, Start should be from sergent but they are the loyals and trusted.

Work hard > get promotions > unlock new features .
That is the spirit and there is the fun. Getting ribbons are also fun if you enjoy it. Get ribbons and you can easily get promotions.
Being lazy and asking everything in finger tips isn't good for an army soldier.
