Wired is better because it not only lasts longer but they come with next to no problems, the wireless one will randomly stop working regardless if it's new or old and it's a pain in the ass to deal with.

if you wanna play some Competitive, eSport games where FPS is quite important, like csgo, dota or LoL, then definitely some gaming WIRED mouse because of quick response, no delay, DPI & sensitivity thing, u know...

Wireless mice can also be used for gaming, ofc, but... Depends on what sort of gaming you are into.

Indognito and lsrcrmakegreatagain are right. I'm using wireless mouse for a month and sometimes it just stops working for no reason. I even changed my battery, but this shit still happens, therefore I do not suggest it for gaming.

I use a wired mouse & my laptop keyboard. Wireless could be good if your PC is far away from your desk because you won't stretch the cable.

EDIT: The receivers for wireless mice & keyboards are also a pain to get out of the USB port, they're small af
