I thought my life is useless when I realized that nothing is permanent.

Nothing?

So R00d.Ofc nothing in this world is permanent.
If you put it like that, we could exclude the word permanent from the dictionary as nothing is permanent in the end.

You can put everything in dark or either in light.
My dog is not gonna be older as 14 yo max. (dark)
My dog is gonna be my best friend for at least 13 years. (light)

However i do in both times suggest that my dog won't be with me as long as i would had wanted. Either the one is a depressing though, whilst the other can bring joy.

+ i'm actually happy with the thought that life is not permanent, dont get me wrong i love to life, very much. However, thinking about it that i would have to play this hardcore game for like infinite amount of years, would make me depressive. Ive so far not found out what i exactly want with my life now, having to fill an infinite amount of years with that, no thanks.
