What are my opinions about Jesus (Peace be upon him)?
I believe in Jesus and I respect him just like I respect all other prophets. He's one of the great prophets of God and he did many miracles which I would never ever question.
And the devil, taking Him up onto a high mountain, showed unto Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. - Luke Chapter 4 Verse 5
Again, the devil took Him up onto an exceeding high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them. - Mathew Chapter 4 Verse 8So in your opinion what is this? Since when we're able to see the whole world from a high mountain? This is only possible when the Earth is flat and with some amazing vision.
Psalm 93:1 wrote:The Lord reigneth; He is clothed with majesty. The Lord is clothed with strength, wherewith He hath girded Himself. The world also is established, that it cannot be moved.

2 Kings 8:25 In the twelfth year of Joram the son of Ahab king of Israel, Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah began to reign.2 Chronicles 22:
26 Two and twenty years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign; and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Athaliah, the daughter of Omri king of Israel.22 So Ahaziah the son of Jehoram, king of Judah, reigned.According to you, how old Ahaziah was when he began to reign?
2 Forty and two years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. His mother’s name also was Athaliah, the daughter of Omri.
2 Kings 24:8 Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. And his mother’s name was Nehushta, the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.2 Chronicles 36:
9 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father had done.9 Jehoiachin was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem; and he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord.According to you, how old was Jehoiachin when he began to reign?

The word used for world in the verse is "שבעולם" literal "עוֹלָם" which means world, universe and it comes from other root words which means existence. You're making this verse figurative while it is not. It clearly mentions about the whole world not just that region because if that would be the case, it would have used the word "אזור" which means a specific region, place not the world. Please come up with your proofs rather than just assuming it as figurative while it is clear not.And the devil, taking Him up onto a high mountain, showed unto Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. - Luke Chapter 4 Verse 5Again, the devil took Him up onto an exceeding high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them. - Mathew Chapter 4 Verse 8So in your opinion what is this? The word "world" has multiple-meanings,in this case the "world" he sees is the entire region of that country/place.Hence the phrases like "the animal world" or "English speaking world" and so on,that doesn't include every centimeter of the planet.

I would be convinced that it says the earth is flat if in the bible the word planet was used instead of ''world''.Let's just assume that the world in this verse could mean particular region. Then why does the verse mentions "all the kingdoms of the world"? Were there dozens of kingdoms in that particular region?
If in the verse it stated "showed unto Him all the kingdoms of the PLANET in a moment of time" then it would be correct to assume the scripture indicated the earth is flat.In this case the word planet was not used,so my point stays valid.

Gangsta19 wrote:It is talking about all of the kingdoms and not just nearby. You're just assuming the meaning yourself. Translate the Hebrew word not the English. It doesn't mention "אזור" to say they meant region but it uses "עוֹלָם" which means the 'world', connecting with other root words "universe" if you go and check it yourself on Hebrew translation.GreaTSaN wrote:I don't know,i wasn't there to witness it,but apparently the people who wrote the bible were.Gangsta19 wrote:I am not making up my own words and meanings,look up the word "world" and it's meanings,you will find that the word changes with context. The question is kinda irrelevant,but let me explain to you how it could be possible to see "all the kingdoms in the world".
Take a look at this picture,it's the ancient Illyrian kingdoms,now imagine there was a very high mountain between Scupi and Uscana,from up there you could most likely see parts of kingdom of Thrakia,Dardania,Illyria,Macedonia etc..Spoiler: show
In my mind, as I lay in bed, I saw a vision:
At the center of the earth was a towering tree.
The tree grew in size and strength;
it was as high as the sky;
it could be seen from every corner of the earth.
Its leaves were beautiful, its fruit abundant;
it had enough food for everyone.
Wild animals took shade under it;
birds nested in its branches.
All living things lived off that tree.
.......
Then Daniel interprets it:
Then Belteshazzar answered, “Sir, I wish the dream to be for those who hate you and its meaning to be for your enemies!
20 The tree you saw that grew in size and strength, that was as high as the sky, that could be seen from every corner of the earth
21 with its beautiful leaves and its abundant fruit, and that had enough food for everyone, with wild animals living under it and birds nesting in its branches
22 Your Majesty, that tree is you! You have grown large and become powerful. Your greatness is as high as the sky; your rule extends to the edge of the earth!
