Not everyone sold their land though, and it's not like the Palestinians today should have to suffer the consequences from that. Nothing can excuse the ethnic cleansing, massacres and state racism by Israel.

I do have to say that the Ottomans were good to the Palestinians and the Zionists, as far as I have understood. They allowed Zionists to settle there even, but they wouldn't allow them to establish a state.
