I guess it's time

Heyy everyone,

So I've been thinking about this for a while and now is the time. I have no idea where to start. So, after installing SA:MP many years ago, the first server I connected to was a roleplay server. I was a cop there and I played there for a while and eventually got bored. I wanted some action so I found a Cops and Robbers server and I played for sometime there too. I missed roleplay and also wanted action so I went to Google and typed "samp roleplay and cops and robbers" and ta-da, there's Lsrcr.

I don't have a good history here. (And yeah, I took my name from the cartoon show Oggy and the Cockroaches and also from a clan I founded in an online game I used to play called Project: IGI 2 Covert Strike multiplayer. For those who don't know, my name used to be ATGOggy, "ATG" was the name of the clan.) So my time here was like two lives. The first one was when I first started playing here until I got banned. I was a true Lsrcr player back then and like a true Lsrcr'er, I got banned multiple times :d . I didn't have many friends back then because I was very annoying, rude and insolent. I invited some of my real-life friends like Karthik to play here. Some of my good friends back there were Jilla123, Nitin, Faraon and Lumix. Jilla123 got banned a few days before I got banned. Nitin has always been there for me. One day, I decided to learn how to script in PAWN, so I tried to make something like the command to kick in Lsrcr. A guy who used to play here wanted to come to my empty server so he asked me for my IP address and I sent it to him through forum. When he got banned for cheating, he reported me for advertising and Veran banned me again, this time permanently. He also thought that I was copying Lsrcr so he also added that to the ban. After that, I decided to fully copy Lsrcr and ban evaded multiple times just to tell them that I was really going copying Lsrcr. I did copy at least 50% of Lsrcr including database, cars, houses, factions and some commands. But then I had something important to do in real life so I couldn't use internet for more than a year. By the time I came back, Lsrcr unbanned everyone in the Global unban so I started playing here again. Thus, began my second life here.

My second life here was all about Pagati. A week or two after I started playing, I got accepted into Pagati. I was in-game for almost over 20 hours every day, always in Pagati skin. For that reason, I became an Underboss in a month after joining. Since then I've been in Pagati's staff team for over 2 years. I believe I did a pretty good job there because I did everything I possibly could for Pagati. I've sacrificed so many things for Pagati and Pagati has given me the same respect in return. We used to have discussions all night night about improving Pagati. For the last years, Pagati had been the only place for roleplay so it was a difficult time back then. But we got through it and I'm proud of leading the team that managed to keep Pagati alive during all this. I'm not going to give a speech about Pagati because I think most people (not all) know about what we've done.

So, recently I've been struggling with some serious health issues in the last few months. I was in hospital for many days and they did many tests on me and put me on meds. Now, I'm becoming more stable but I have to take multiple pills everyday till I die. Currently, I'm also having some other health issues and I didn't know whether these are all connected but the doctor has told me that they're not. So, the doctor told me to stop doing so many things that I used to and make some major changes in my lifestyle. It's hard for me to let go of those things but I have no choice. So, I've talked to one of the Seniors and some other admins and planned my retirement from Pagati. Now that I think Pagati has been safely handed over to someone who looks promising, I think it's time that I leave. I have no regrets because I know I did a pretty good job here.

I've accomplished a lot of things here besides Pagati. But out of all, what I think is more important are the friends I made. I've met a lot of people here. Some are good people, some are bad people. Some are admins now while some are banned now. I've been able to learn many things and make a lot of unforgettable memories here so I'm definitely not leaving with empty hands. I'm not going to mention the name of all my friends because they already know the level of my friendship with them and I don't think there's any point in telling that to others. PS:- Special thanks to Immortal for making that topic in the religious section. I had so much fun here and I'm never going to forget it in my life. I tried to make this as short as possible but I'm sorry I just had too much to say. I guess that's it. So guys, remember that life is short (apparently) so enjoy it as much as possible but make sure not to hurt anyone because love is the most important thing. That was really heart-breaking to read, yet really enjoying. Many of us, ex-PG staffers, know how hard you worked for the whole faction, how you were always there when needed, and that will never be forgotten. Once again, IRL comes first and I can't blame you for leaving the game, especially that you have health issues and you have more important things in life. You were a really nice guy, starting from when I met you at the house giveaways made by Onzie, when you tried helping me get the houses, to when you were leading Pagati with all your heart.

Definitely a great guy and will be missed by many of us (if not all). I really wish you a better life mate, and I hope we stay in touch on discord. Farewell brother, you'll always be in our hearts
