Mastro wrote:Possibly, but not sure if it's even worth doing so simply because you can either just reply to your own comment or just be careful when voting to prevent mistakes.Yeah, that would be great.
By the way we might add something else aswell. What do you think of voting anonymously on tag applications? Applicant won't actually know who voted and will only be able to see the actual vote.
That is so we can encourage most of you to vote on applications without being afraid of destroying friendships and what not, staying completely honest.

The applicant has full right to view who voted positive/negative on their application. If this gets implemented then the number of invalid votes will increase, just to take revenge people will start giving negative and say bad attitude and the applicant would never know that who was it.It doesn't really help knowing who voted negative/positive on your tag application. It only leads to friendships getting destroyed and players not being completely honest when voting.

I don't think being honest with someone with end the friendship, but if it does then it is good. Mostly people give negative because of attitude, and if it is true that the applicant's attitude is bad then being a friend I would tell him to improve it..BeaTen. wrote:I saw this a bit late but I'll post my opinion here. Only admins will be able to see the names for obvious reasons. People are already trying to take revenges by voting 'negative' on applications fairly often and that's something we can't do anything about since we don't really know whether it was a real or fake one.
BeaTen. wrote:I mean, you are right but, how can you prove someone gave you a 'negative' vote unfairly? Especially when the reason is something like "bad attitude"? Same thing when it comes to SMOTM, AMOTM etc, you can't punish those players (even though sometimes it's pretty obvious they are helping friends) because that's their opinion and we can never be sure no matter what.Mastro wrote:But right now if they give negative for fake reasons at least the applicant can file a report against the voter, if all those are hidden he won't be able to do that too.
