Why should it be accepted: While playing on the server, I've noticed a pretty major flaw in the log in system: We lose everything. When you die, this is expected. When arrested, you lose your guns but not your items. But if you log out, or worse, crash, everything you had on you is GONE. Wallet? Gone. Cork? Gone. Headphones? Gone. Guns? Gone. It almost seems as if /q is the same as /kill. What's worse is this results in a mad dash for the nearest store to buy new items. It's only about 2k for all my stuff, but that 2k adds up over time. And if I don't have the cash, I have RUN (or steal a car) to the nearest atm, withdraw, and go back. During this time, we are EXTREMELY vulnerable. No wallet means any cash is up for grabs. No cork means you could die before you make it to a store. No car means you're going to be walking. I can't count the number of times I've had to sprint to a store only to be robbed on the way, because the wallet I bought last time I was on is gone. You also have no defense as any guns you had are gone as well. You basically just have to take it. Or hope you can make it before a criminal pings in you and targets you for the easy target you are. Most servers save your data when you go, letting you keep your inventory and weapons unless you died/were arrested. Some even keep your place in the world. So if you were at LSPD you spawn back at LSPD in that spot. Just something to consider to make logging in not such a nightmare.

Might as well buy a wallet/cork every time I logout so that I don't have to worry about getting robbed/raped next time I log in. Also, by saying that you shouldn't lose your items upon logging out, that also means that we're never going to lose headphones.

You can easily get all items for under 1k cash at 24/7 shops, which is absolutely no money in the Lsrcr economy.

You have spawn protection, every place where you spawn (in ls) has a car within 10m radius. so just enter car, /lock and get to 24/7 safely

Unless you spawn at your house...which I do. Nearest car is usually the 24/7

While we're at it, I think that the vehicle engine state should be saved upon disconnect. Many times when I was doing chases I'd timeout and it was very frustrating for me to have to go, get wanted again, and find a new car. Even if I still somehow spawned right inside my previous car, the engine was off, and I had to spend 1-2 seconds in game waiting for the car to turn on; that's without accounting for the time that I need to get back to the speed that I was going at when I timed out
