What is GSR?

GSR intends to be a clan for those interested in racing/driving in Ls-rcr. Currently, many people in the server would want to learn how to drive properly but just don't know where to start, and don't know who to ask.

Note the stress made on clan - GSR is not a group, at least in the traditional Ls-rcr sense. We will not give you free vehicles, weapons, items, or a spawn location. We're simply a collection of people interested in driving, and trying to help each other out.

What is GSRt?

[GSRt] is the tag that members of GSR under training period are using. Members under training will be required to attend one driving lesson/session per week, else they will be removed from the group at the end of that week. There is no set period of time on how long a member will be in training for, it all depends on the individuals effort and practice.

More on Weekly Lessons

There will always be a schedule posted on Monday for the upcoming week. Normally, lessons will be held in Saturday/Sunday, and they will be offered at different time zones to accommodate for different members. The contents of the lessons will vary from week to week, but they will be cumulative - what you did the previous week will be expanded upon on the next, and so on. Needless to say, these lessons are exclusive to our members - if you're not on the clan, you cannot participate. More on Weekly Challenges

Every week, one challenge will be posted and all members will have a chance to take part in it. These challenges are called Time Trials and will generally work as follows:

• At the beginning of the week, a new TT is posted with a map description of what the track is, and a demo run for it in video form
• Members will have all week to make as many attempts as they want, and then submit their best one before that week is over
• For the submission to be valid, the member must be using our official speedometer AND must record the track from beginning to end, all in one go
• At the end of the week, all the submission videos are reviewed and the results will be posted

Membership Requirements

Have a somewhat serious attitude towards learning and be interested in driving. To avoid players that don't fit this profile, there is a minimum requirement of 500 hours for that player's account.

While you meet the hour requirements, I simply don't know you well enough to know that you will be invested in the clan. You are a member of several other groups, and so I think that you're not really invested in this clan in particular, but just think that it would be cool to join it and then probably become an inactive member. The clan requires a level of engagement higher than other groups, and you were unable to even follow the application correctly.

Sorry, but you fail to meet the 500 hours of playtime requirement. Other than that, I've noticed that you were loyal to SK until you had to leave for sickness, I don't know why you've left Terrorists (it was before that you went inactive on SK, and you didn't post there), and you failed rules on The Saints.

However, all of that was in January of this year or before, so I do see a change in your loyalty towards groups, and you applied to this one following the format. I see you playing actively most of the time, so that's another good aspect you have.

Feel free to reapply again once you reach 500 hours of playtime.

I like the general concept of this clan as you said, given that it will have weekly trainings and one must attend atleast one training per week, I'm not sure if people will be able to attend and the fact that timezone differences between european,Asian and american players can be a problem, I'm sure you will make some changes and give relaxation to players.I would like to be a part of the clan as it will help me improve my driving skills wherever improvement is required. Although, I can't promise myself being there for almost each training.

I appreciate you being honest in your reason, but note that while the hours themselves for the weekly training are subject to change, the attendance is still mandatory. That means that for as time goes on, the hours may be adjusted so that members can attend without problem - however, this doesn't change things. If you cannot attend to any of the sessions for a single week, you will be dropped.

I do still remember teaching you earlier on before I decided to make this format - even then I wanted to organize something but I really didn't have my mind set on it so it didn't happen until now.
