Your name: demon
Suggestion headline: bring back snipwr cbug
Picture: Keep the picture in this
Spoiler: show
Importance of suggestion: 7:10 (Shows how much it would mean to server/players)
Why should it be accepted: As e.e said, don't even know why you removed sniper cbug but you don't have a problem with 2shot and as matta said it brought a different playstyle than the usual 2shot.

on my phone so didn't elaborate much, will add more later.

I say get rid of sniper c-bug AND 2 shot. 2-shot requires no skill, and is basically a cheap spray and pray method of being a douche to your fellow players.

+1, it require skills to do that and doesn't give much of a advantage. It just got removed biased on very few complaints.

We had a poll vote few years back about removing 2shot and more than half the server voted on keeping it.

Mastro said (in a post) that if more than 70% of the community want something, they'll get it.

In my opinion c-bug should be allowed in order to cancel the animation after you've shot once with weapons like the sniper or deagle. Right now the only weapon viable on foot is sawnoff, if you try to use deagle or sniper you'll get killed immediately after firing, since you can't move. I agree that c-bug can be gamebreaking, if it's used to fire faster with deagle etc. since the weapon deals alot of damage. However using c-bug after firing once isn't some overpowered thing that needs to be illegal. All it does is creating variety, makes more weapons viable in fights on foot, and doesn't force people to use sawnoff in order to have a standing chance. If two shot was against the rules it would've made sense, but no matter how you look at it, 2 shot is way more overpowered than using a bug to be able to move after firing a shot. Using c-bug with a sniper also allowed criminals to have a chance against LEO's while being chased on foot. You could quickly turn around and snipe them, resulting in the LEO getting stunned, which allowed you to damage them, and still keep the distance if you hit your shots. Right now there's simply no way to fight LEO's chasing you, because as soon as you turn around to shoot they will catch up before you're able to kill them. Sniper allows criminals to kite LEO's chasing them, and ensures that the gameplay is more balanced. Without c-bug you have to wait forever to move after firing, and by then the target will be able to move again, and will catch up.

Basically what I mean is that it should be allowed to c-bug to cancel animation after firing once, obviously not to fire faster with weapons where it can be used for that purpose. It just brings more variety in the gameplay, and makes sure players have more than one viable option when it comes to weapons, and at the same time it makes the gameplay more balanced, when it comes to cops vs criminals.

Sorry if there's long sentences or bad grammar, cba to correct it.

To make this a bit more clear, I didn't talk about literally everything, however when more than 2/3 of the community agrees on something then chances are it is going to be implemented. It's not always like that though, there are exceptions.

We decided to disallow sniper C-bug because server rules clearly state it is against our policy. That rule talking about it didn't specify which weapon, and that was basically a loophole. We were not taking action when sniper c-bug was being used and players were getting confused, unsure whether it was fine or not. We agreed on allowing it not so long ago, in 2018 as far as I remember, and there were no issues prior to that, no complaints how it shouldn't be against the rules whatsoever. It simply doesn't look good when we permit certain type of c-bugs and forbid others. It also promotes c-bugging in general and is harder to take care of in many cases. It's much easier for someone to c-bug with all weapons (including deagle) when you tell them it's fine doing so when using a certain gun than when disallowing it completely. Speaking from personal experience, reports for c-bugging have significantly increased after the sniper c-bug allowance, due to this.

I believe some of us are really used to it at this point hence why we have a hard time accepting it and adapting to this change. Sniper, like an other weapon, has advantages and disadvantages. The pros are the high damage it delivers and its scope (which is a huge plus). The cons are low fire-rate, which is affected when one c-bugs. It might not give a huge advantage, yes, but it still does. If we think about it, right now we are arguing about permitting a bug that surely wouldn't be a thing if GTA SA was made in 2019, and not in 2004. And something we allowed just 9-12 months ago.

We don't really want players to take advantage of such, those weapons are not intended to work like that. One simply does not use a sniper rifle when a cop is very close. He uses smgs or sawn-off. Any weapon with high fire-rate. Same as when you use sniper if cop is too far away, and not an uzi. If you want to use sniper in close combat then sure, that's up to you, but you run the risk of getting caught due to how immobile you are. That's how it should work.

Claiming sniper c-bug requires skill is partially true, but we can say the exact same thing about deagle c-bug which is way harder to master actually. The only one we allow is 2-shot and that is because it has been a thing since the start of this server. It is an exception. It's been here literally for ages, everyone is adapted to this game style and removing this out of a sudden isn't a smart decision to make. We will also have to make a couple of tweaks, how arresting system works and whatnot, major changes to put it simply. I remember there was a global poll back in 2016 and more than 85% were negative on disallowing it. That speaks for itself and it an Ls-rcr thing at this point.

Just like 2 shot bug is allowed, I think sniper C bug should as well remain allowed. It was allowed back in 2018 because it doesn't give much of advantage but I am not sure why did it got removed after a year without causing any big troublesl, I believe only 2 or 3% complaint about this (I think) because when we sniper c bug in a combat it becomes fun and more challenging.

in regards to CQC (close quarter combat) if you are on top of a car and activity chasing a subject the car will blow up quicker then it’s supposed to (due to the amount of damage the car is receiving in a single second) it will on occasion bug your client when you try to respawn

“the bug requires skill” this statement is subjective since it does not require anything more then abusing an unintended feature to make the gun glitch to where is cancels the animation ofc most players are high pingers and whilst using drugs to insure it’s harder for them to mess up, etc

“This makes the community look bad” this statement is true when everyone is abusing bugs rather then using actual skill it makes the server look like a safe haven for problematic people since they are the ones who usually use these types of “methods” to gain an unfair advantage over other players not just in Lsrcr but other games/servers as well.

“This bug does not give much of an unfair advantage” actually it does since the bug allows a weapon that only shoots one bullet at a time shoot as fast as an m4, (again ping is a factor as well here) back in the day it wasn’t that big of a deal because it was a bug that wasn’t well known hence it wasn’t used as a crutch same as 2 shot though even 2 shot should be removed since it has the same amount of issues as sniper C bug etc I don’t need to go into an explanation on the matter of 2 shot, these crutches don’t enhance the gameplay they only make it boring for the other party and chases new players as well as some older ones, now I’ve noticed that some of the older members have been complaining but it’s only the ones who have been inactive for years So they come back only to exploit a bad situation and complain whilst holding the server back in regards to growth then regardless If they get what they wanted go inactive again for years before you ever see them again then the cycle continues etc, the fact that the staff team is doing something about the countless issues has not only given me but some others hope that the server might have a chance at survival in the near future because this shows that they actually do care about the server and so on.
