Your Name: Sheep
Your suggestion: Disabling cooldown to /parole cmd for swat officers.
Reason: There are some specific cases that we use /parole cmd, and it happen mostly when there are no crimes, or someone who got wanted by a mistake, and doesn't deserve jail.
Or atleast make it lower for 2-3 minutes, but I dont think that swat members will abuse it because they'll be punished hardly.
In real life, swats can parole whoever they want and without any limits, since they are a special government team, so it's also realistic.

Thanks in advance.

If they got wanted by mistake, and you don't want to "punish" them for it - just simply don't drag them.

Again there's no argument as to why it should happen for swats and not for the other law enforcement officers. You could at this point still have an argument for "decrease the amount of time between paroles for everyone since it is too large".

That's absolutely not true lol, I don't know what you're talking about.

In any case, I'll consider the "decrease the amount of time between paroles for everyone since it is too large" possible argument.

My numbers may be wrong so if someone knows the accurate ones please correct them:
Orange wanted jail time -> ~60-120sec (1/2 min)
Red wanted jail time -> ~120-240sec (2/4 min)
Most wanted jail time (unable to be paroled anyway) -> ~360 sec (6 min)

I don't really know what the current cooldown is, and I can't tell whether you mean "lower whatever that number is by two minutes" or "lower it to two minutes". Since the "lower by two minutes" argument depends on what it is right now, I'll avoid it - I'll just try to explain what the minimum time should be (in my eyes) for parole cooldown.

Granted that the max amount of jailtime (again correct me if wrong) is 240sec, the minimum for parole cooldown in my opinion should be at the very least that amount. I don't really know if its good to make it exactly that, since someone arresting a friend and constantly releasing them (even if it is not scoreboosting determined) loses a bit of the sense of CNR in my eyes - you should spend (a reasonable amount) of time in jail after you're caught, paroling should be exceptions and every now and then.

For that reason, I'm negative toward your suggestion of only considering it for swat.
However, I'm neutral to consider evaluating the cooldown timer for paroling, as long as it's more than the maximum amount of jailtime a red wanted player would have to spend in jail and as long as there's some valid justification as to why right now it would be too long.

Which will get you into admin jail, so your suggestion won't help them at all.

Okay leave this situation aside, I still think that swats should be limitless when it comes to /parole, that's my opinion, I would like to hear some swat members about this.

Note that any of us, regardless of being in SWAT or not, can give feedback here. I addressed all of your points as to why, in my eyes, this isn’t needed and you completely refused to reply now (given that you engaged in the other convo but not the first, detailed post).

Usually if you have a strong argument for why something needs to happen, you wouldn’t dismiss replies (much less ignore them)

Sorry for ignoring your reply, It was too long to read it and i'm sorry about that, anyways about your reply, *If they got wanted by mistake, and you don't want to "punish" them for it - just simply don't drag them.* - yeah I usually kill when I think some guys shouldn't be jailed but that's not the point, okay I can understand why you're so against the idea, because it can be abused and used in the wrong way, you're right. but I think the cd now is 15 or 30 mins, it's very high I think because sometimes I'm using the parole cmd every 5 mins, because there are no crimes when in-skin and I want the suspects to commit more and more crimes. but sure there are alot of other reasons, that's why I wanted to ask for other opinions.
Sorry again for ignoring your reply, I was kinda busy when I was reading the topic.

Negative. I've rarely seen any swat officer /parole someone. The command has a cooldown to prevent abuse. As Rally said, if you think that someone doesn't deserve go to jail then just kill them. If they're red they'd go to alca anyway. Only orange suspects can be paroled out and they don't even have to spend too much time in jail.

Edit: You just stated that you'd like us to be able to parole so the criminal activity could rise up. That would basically be an abuse, no? Imagine arresting a player and then paroling them just to arrest them again after 2 mins. It could be considered score-boosting under certain circumstances.
