how can u know that someone is spamming left click, bomb animation getting skipped is rare, its equally rare (almost) to the bug when u press lmb but detonator doesn't work. When I tell anyone that bomb detonator gets bugged, everyone be like its too rare to notice, then I think this is too rare to notice as well
Because it is the only thing by which they can surpass the animation as it is used to detonate the bomb. Although what do you have to say on replacing it with a way which jsb has? Would be a little harder like it is to us? There's nothing wrong in changing the way of detonating as you'll still get the same abilities available after detonating it.
I'll just add that SWAT bomb and /jsb has the exact same animation, meaning that if one can be skipped so can the other. /jsb doesn't work any differently when it comes to animations.

Also, I don't really think it's right to call this abuse. Before the hotfix, the bomb was definitely being abused because SWAT members would bring cops and avoid bringing SWAT in order to maximize the taze time, which obviously wasn't an intended mechanic.

I see this differently though. A SWAT tank isn't really fast and you should be able to spread out by the time it gets there. Also, the SWAT tank is barely ever used for anything so if there's actually a purpose for it I personally find that cool.
Sure but do you see how hard is it for Criminals to prepare jsb command when other cops are coming after you? Whilist swat just have to press the key, either they should as well type the command to detonate the bug (as it will also have less chances of avoiding the animation) and would be fair with criminals or criminals should also be able to plant jsb with a key.

+1 for adding command for detonating swat bomb. After all they have good soc so why not? I don't think you guys have problem with it.
Or do it same for criminals.
I am same!

About that bring cops with us thing, criminals also take civilians with them in order to avoid the tank and its an abuse, but not considered an abuse I don't find any problem with that
I heard a few days ago that a new permission was granted to the Tank users that, they can engage a car or a group who continuously brings a civilian along with them, however I am not sure about it.
I think that this piece of text that I pulled from the Army archives will explain it the best, posted the 10th of May:

Having a civilian on a car filled with cophunters is asking for trouble, the names are so damn close to each other that it's nearly impossible to see if there's anyone that's not wanted. Especially if you're not directly next to them.
Taking a civilian during a cophunt is a VERY common way of report hunting, a vast majority of all reports is done privately and isn't known to the public, but trust me, this happens WAY too often.

I fully agree with the problem that you're addressing, it IS a real problem that has been around for quite some time.
As said above, the issue is known.
For now, the AHC will experiment with different ways to handle reports made regarding such cases (using a civilian as a shield, etc). We'll see how this goes and if the amount of reports decreases (as most are report hunts), if not, further action MIGHT be taken if deemed necessary. The Seniors have agreed that this is a good first step to take.
This does NOT mean you can all-out shoot cophunters that have civilians! Avoid taking taking unnecessary risks, don't get in trouble to begin with ;)

Didn't actually read anything but if there is going to be changes then first fix the detonator bug which makes it disappear.
Have a drink, get buzzed, chill and enjoy.

No need, not interested in solving the bug as I believe the bug is challenging for SWAT, considered it as a malfunctioning for bomb usage which is logical. But if there is some changes to it then I'd rather start suggesting to solve this bug then going to another steps.

As many have mentioned, the bug regarding detonating SWAT bomb is unfixable (viewtopic.php?f=308&t=95597&hilit). It wouldn't be really smart to fix this one since the other one is impossible to get rid of and actually has many chances of failing.

I suggest we focus the SWAT bomb itself instead and any ideas you have regarding it should be posted there: viewtopic.php?f=620&t=101966

Thanks.
