Ada said everything, and try to control yourself, you just got mad yesterday for getting arrested by me and when i switched to army and killed you, you started getting mad again and said '" why 2 shots are allowed in this server. '" so it's -1 from my side.

Fine, give all the negative feedback. I'm going to be recording a montage of instant arrests and post it, and we'll see how fair you think it is.

Also, I've been working on this for two weeks. Don't take whatever Ada says to heart.
We all know how "instant" those arrests are.
It's not too hard, let alone impossible, to type /taze, /cuff and /ar in under a second. Don't let the cops get close and you'll be fine most of the time.
Also, try shocking.

Hey,i've read your suggestion but before giving any opinion i would like to mention that i find you used many words to express your uncertainty about if those who are doing /cuff & /ar so quickly are even doing it in a legal way.that's why this suggestion doesn't seem right to me because dealing with cheaters must stay alone , and making changes that'll affect all the players also must stay alone.

For me you're suggesting instead of reporting and your suggestion may affect players that don't use anything.

As for your suggestion,i'd rather call the cuff&ar a skill that cops developped with time and work and it's the same thing with the players that use /sh and /bc in the perfect time to counter a cop because they've been in this alot and with time they learned how to deal with what makes a threat for them.the gameplay is like that and we have to adjust ourselves to it not to make many restrcitions and each time we feel weak we demand changes.

For me cops have their commands and criminals have theirs aswell,so it's up to us to learn how and when to use it to win.

And i want also to clarify that cuffing and arresting when jumping from the nrg isn't the same as you see it , let's see things more realistic , it doesn't happen to have the criminals ids from nothing , we look for it and pretype/copy the commands because we know that we have no chance agasint criminals if we type commands when we're near them and it's also the case even with pretyped commands because their shocks can counter us so it's up to the target if he's causious or not.And since the cuff range is so short we have to be so explicit when it comes to jumping from the nrg and choosing the right direction to get our target. there're so many details so i would be glad if you start seeing things differently and more realistic.

Since it's clear the LSPD, SWAT, and Army can't play a fair game and want to use personal attacks, claiming I'm emotional and that this suggestion is out of anger than than an actual attempt to improve the server, I'm going to ask that this be locked for now. Once I have more, I'll ask someone else to post a new suggestion and watch them all suddenly be fore proper balancing

Adding a cuff failure would be better where cops might fail to cuff a suspect

I - and all of us - understand your frustration, I can agree it can be pretty annoying getting arrested within seconds, however it's part of the gameplay. I spend and have spent most of the time myself as a cop and I can assure you typing those 3 or 4 commands within 2-4 seconds is definitely doable. Pointing this out because I also felt you were trying to imply most of those cops are using illegal modifications. That doesn't mean all of them are legit though, there are always going to be cheaters and we try our best to find and eliminate them. Remember that having the ability to execute commands fast is a skill itself. And that's what we want. It requires practice and surely none of us were good at arresting when we first started.

There are many ways to counter a fast typer, but keep in mind only a handful amount of players are that quick. The average let alone newbie cop has a hard time arresting someone when guns like sawn-offs are being used to begin with. The cuff range was significantly reduced two years ago to make it a bit harder, however making it even shorter is not recommended, factors like ping, lag and so on will come into play if we do so.

We could possibly make it so cuffing has a chance to fail, as suggested (the more arrests you have the higher the chances to succeed), however this needs to be discussed thoroughly among community members. I am not sure if making any more cop vs criminals changes will benefit at all, to be honest.

I applaud those with the SKILL to quickly cuff. My issue is NOT being cuffed. My issue is the speed of ARREST. We are talking about being cuffed AND ARRESTED in under a second. I will be recording, and can show where the message for cuff and arrest is all within the same timestamp. Being cuffed instantly is NOT the issue. The issue is when you are cuffed AND ARRESTED within the same time. The suggestion is a timer between /cuff, and /arrest. So speed of command is still very much good, you can /cuff as fast as you want. And once a user is cuffed, they have a CHANCE to /bc or have someone pick their cuffs. Offer a bribe, something. But there should be a TIME between /cuff (which makes a user harmless, they can't shoot, shock, ect) and /arrest, which sends them to jail. All I was suggesting was that when a user is cuffed, there be a timer to give them a chance to /bc or something. because being instantly cuffed and arrested is crap. I don't mind being cuffed, because it CAN be broken out of. I mind when I am cuffed and arrested so fast I can't even get a screenshot of it. They cuff and arrest so fast I can't even press F8 before I'm in jail. That is broken

With the current cuff range it's already not that easy to cuff suspects, you can counter that by using better movement instead of going in straight lines and on and on.
Cops can be fast with cuffs and you can be fast with /bc, it's just matter of practice and time.
If you're roaming as a wanted suspect then you should be ready to face any coming challenges, which includes cops heading to you in a nrg or it can be a cop hoping out of dodo,
If you couldn't focus on a cop approaching and you get instant cuffed/arrested then it doesn't mean the system needs to be changed.
Also it will make auto /bc advantage of vip packet less worthy.

I don't know how many times we've already stated the fact that roleplay is a part of LSRCR, it's mainly a CNR server. You can't expect cops to wait for you to initiate a roleplay instead of arresting you because let's face it, 80% of the current community doesn't even understand the basic roleplay. As Robin stated, it's not hard to type in all the cmds within 2 secs time frame if you're fast at typing so adding a timer would be absurd in my opinion.

Imagine walking into a cophunt, let's say 8-9 guys trying to kill you and you have to wait 3 more secs after a cuff to ar them. Wouldn't that make crims too op? The current gameplay is perfectly balanced imo and doesn't need any nerfing/buffing.

Just like /arrest has a shortcut which is /ar, /breakcuffs does have one which is /bc and in this case, /bc is quite easier to type compared to /ar ID. If you are tazed and the cop is close enough to cuff you then you should be ready since you can clearly tell he is going to cuff you so just simply prepare the command. Perhaps, copy /bc and paste it when someone cuffs you (CTRL + C to copy and CTRL + V to paste).
Speed of commands is a skill and we cannot put to waste the work our players have done to improve it.

I do not support this suggestion.
