okay to avoid all this and make the game more enjoyable is to decrease jail time and max it up to 180 seconds. So more crimes will be committed and CnR works.

It's not about making stricter rules or nerfing some systems to ease it up for wanted players. What is the use of more severe rules and punishments when this won't prevent players from continuously abusing over and over. You cannot expect from players who have been doing this most of the time, that this is going to stop them from quitting just because of stricter rules. I have already said that which is when you have someone intentionally quitting, such players will never stop abusing unless they're taught differently. There's still gonna be pretty much same population quitting and this cannot be changed in any way, other than implementing what was proposed few times already which is that wanted players who quit around LEO players will get put to jail, no matter whether they have been previously handcuffed or not. Yes, it might sometimes happen that you timeout in the middle of a chase or fight, but it is what it is, crashing happens rarely and there's sadly no way to predict when it's gonna occur. I read that someone had been proposing that players who timed out around LEO players would not be put to jail, that on the other hand, if it's possible to implement, would solve every issue.

Okay add more strict rules on the matter sure but if this is going to happen then make a rule where cops/swat and army can’t leave while taking damage from a criminal or being within close proximity of a criminal since the cops will often use this tactic to insure their K/D isn’t affect and it makes no sense that a cop just randomly disappears the second his health goes down to only 25% remaining so even the playing field if the rules are going to be enforced at all.
This ^

/q abuse goes both ways, it doesn't only happen on the criminal side. But that's all that people want to focus on.

We already decreased max jail time from 400+ seconds to around 280.

280 is still too much, that's 4,5+ minutes after all. I don't know where's fun being in jail for that much? As Slam said, set it max up to 180 seconds because the faster people get out of jail, the sooner will they be able to make crime again and so on. It's just more interesting and challeging for both cops and criminals.

Decreasing the jail time even further will decrease the value of the jailcard.

Who cares, they're expensive as fuck anyways and not everyone can afford buying them.

Not sure if deceasing max jail-time for criminals would be beneficial but we might give it a try in the future.

As for making q abuse rules stricter, I think it's fine the way it is now. When you leave the server after being tazed/cuffed and then rejoin within 30 minutes , you get auto-jailed. Maybe an auto-warning if player gets auto-jailed more than twice?

However that doesn't happen if a LEO hasn't used any commands on you. That might change if we implement Mason's suggestion, but not sure if Devs have the time to do that for now.

I dont know man, people just /q before we can even taze and cuff them. We need it now more than ever. Lots and lots of players are quitting the game this way and avoiding jail. You play as a LEO, you know what I am talking about.
