Playing solo as SWAT is already tougher than playing cops most of the time criminals are almost always teaming whether it’s on LSA or anywhere else which leaves very little room to deal with them alone. Bombs end up being one of the few ways to balance that out and even then criminals still have plenty of counters like jammers, shocks, and reflectors. SWAT bombs have been nerfed multiple times since I joined the server and honestly they feel pretty balanced right now at this point, it’s less about the tools and more about skill and how well you use what you’re given

As a SWAT member, I would like to address a common opinion held by many players that the SSB is overpowered. In reality, it functions similarly to a shock and can be easily countered with a SWAT jammer, which is available on the black market. This counter has always existed as a way for criminals to defend themselves. From experience, even if a bomb is used against a squad, the freeze only lasts a few seconds, after which players can quickly recover and retaliate with shocks or other tools.

Overall,
this shows that the SSB is not overly powerful and can be effectively handled with proper awareness and timing.

We just tested it in server with admins, it was overpowered.

I believe what I said genuinely comes from my own experience.

in the first place, everyone is crying about this bcs the old version was actually overpowered, not the current one.
If you really consider the current version overpowered, then what would you call the old one? lol.

u were already opposing the OLD SSB system even before the addition of the blackmarket, u cried about it back then, they added it for u (including multiple counters not only against the SSB but against several SWAT features in general), and that was fair, likewise, adjusting SSB usage to its current state was also a reasonable and balanced decision.
babies are crying in the corner about both the old SSB usage and the current one whenever they don’t know how to deal with it, they cry about it, even though the current system is balanced and fair for everyone.

What’s the purpose of uploading this video when you escaped right without any SWAT counters after the SSB was used? Lol.

Why would anyone use SSB in a 3v1 situation unless he is not abusing it. I managed to escape luckily because i was out of the swat cuff range but still surrounded by swat and army and had to no chance to escape nor fight. SSB was not for this purpose. nothing personal though.

Using SSB in a 3v1 doesn’t automatically mean abuse, it depends on the situation.
You still managed to escape without any SWAT counters being used after SSB, which is why I questioned the purpose of uploading the clip.
Being surrounded doesn’t always mean there was no chance to escape, especially since you did manage to get out of cuff range and u still can use /bc to escape if you're cuffed.
I’m not taking this personally either, just pointing out that the clip doesn’t really prove abuse on its own.

Nowadays, some players seem to be on a mission to clip every SWAT Bomb usage and magically make it turns into "abuse."
