Internet Censorship

This week a vote will be cast on a bill that would give the right to the american government to block dns servers to various websites, disallowing them to function if/or any of their members post censorship content. Up until now, if you posted a censored material on, for example youtube, youtube was not held responsible for your actions, but you are. Basically, this will stop the biggest international sites for existing such as youtube, google, facebook, baidu, yahoo, amazon, wikipedia and so on and so on. Most people would think that there is nothing that you, me or any of us can do. Normally that would be correct, but all of us, we're unstoppable. Spread the word, sign this petition, advertise it on facebook, let's stop this madness from blocking us from our friends, favorite videos, songs, source of knowledge.

madness indeed. i don't see any reason why the government should keep you away from any site whatsoever. you're responsible for your own actions. they've really gone mad, fix the financial crisis first, then start whining about topics like these

Governments stepping in because big time hollywood companies like Sony are bitching about piracy on a whole new level.


If theres internet, theres going to be piracy. There is NO WAY to stop it.
