Welcome to a quick rundown on some samp CLIENT related problems. You can use this guide to troubleshoot your issues, and work towards repairing your game to play again soon. Please remember this is related to sa:mp client problems only, not hardware or server issues.

My Single Player Loads instead of SA:MP

When you launch sa:mp and connect to a server, sa:mp should launch automatically and independently. That means you should not see anything related to single player ( sp load screens etc)
The two most common problems related to this error are:
1. You have installed sa:mp to a folder that does not contain the grand theft auto san andreas files
2. You do not have the correct version of grand theft auto san andreas

Fixes:
1. Install sa:mp client into the folder where you gta files originate from, not any random folder.
2. Downgrade your game. It is automatic install patch and easy to do, download a patcher from here

My screen freezes at "Connecting to ip..."

You need to understand that the problems related to this are often connection based. This means the server you are trying to connect to may be offline/unavailable.
Also it could mean you have the wrong version of sa:mp client installed. You can see the latest release client here

I have installed mods to GTA: San Andreas and sa:mp won't load

Firstly, if its crashing, 99% of the time you will have to re-install your grand theft auto san andreas. This may be a pain to some since many people use illegal versions of the game. A tip is to save your gta installer .exe so that you do not have to always re-download grand theft auto.

Your basic fix to this is to do a clean re-install - make sure all folders and files associated with both grand theft auto and sa:mp are deleted.
Remember, back up your gta img file, then you will not have to reinstall!

When I launch sa:mp it will not load or crashes

Your first option is to delete gta_sa.set file from my documents>grandtheftauto san andreas user files
Your second option is to get rid of those cheats you have installed ;)

I can not see any servers in sa:mp browser, help?

A simple solution to try is to check that sa:mp is allowed through your firewall. There is too many types of firewall software, so I am not going to write how to do this since they are all different. Just open your firewall software/program and find where you can see programs allowed through, if sa:mp is not on there add it as an exception.

More coming soon!
