I can see why you'd argue that they're spreading Illuminati, but maybe it's a realistic move for the developers since it might represent the character. I mean, you never really know, but I don't think game developers are out to spread Illuminati. The symbols are everywhere but all in all it just comes down to what you truly believe in. I'm not sure about you, but I don't believe in any of it all. Not to spit on your efforts nor your beliefs, but this is a place where we all collaborate based upon them, so I felt like I'd share a little of my own.

After a lot of research, I still find myself running in circles. Like Auto said, it could be because it fits the character. It could also be what you said. I honestly think that Illuminati is more than just playing around with symbols and such and as far as the videogames are concerned, I think the videogame industry knows how the "Illuminati" is a trending topic and is making the most out of it as it creates hype for those who know of it. This may also contribute to their sales as those curious will most probably buy the game and play it and could be an indirect marketing tactic.
