Global Tag Reset
The idea was with the Staff for a long time already, a Global Tag Reset.
Now, Guntimer posted a poll and the majority of the players agreed on it. The amount of positive votes was high enough and now it will happen, all tags will be removed.
Yet it's not sure what will happen to the Community Supporters, as they are required to be tagged members.
We assume that all Server Staff members will not lose their tags, yet nothing is confirmed about this.
On the moment of writing, there are a total of 617 Tagged members, of which 43 are Staff members. So there will be a total of 574 Tags removed, how this will be done is unknown, but it will surely be a lot of work.
In order to get the Tag (back), you've to apply for it as usually. But there will be higher requirements for the applicants, this will most likely be scripted into the Website so the Staff doesn't have to deny these people themselves.
We're looking forward to the next announcement regarding this!
Community Supporters
Since the beginning of April we got the Community Supporters, some people like it and some people don't. The main point at first was to help the Administrators doing the things Administrators should do such as reports, instead of answering basic questions that most Tagged members can answer.
There are some people who thing it's useless, but it's actually to help the Staff and Server. Beside all the critic, are they even doing a good job or should they be removed?
The only way to know if they are efficient for the Staff, was to ask the Administrators themselves. I asked the following questions to them:
- Do you agree the Community Supporters have improved the helping of new players?
- Do you, as Admin, see improvement in your gameplay?
The answers from different Administrators:
Leone Don
At 23 May, Jobin got appointed as the new Don of The Leone Family. Sadly there wasn't any clear reason stated, but we hope that he will bring Leone back and active!

Player Base
Matt posted a about this a short while ago, regarding the dropping player base.
He guessed the reasons for this, starting with exams, going to the leaving of well known players.
Exams, yeah sure everyone has them once and this is a known issue and he's right that this is the cause of it.
About the known players leaving, wrong. There are people who leave the community every day, some played for a short while and are unknown, some are known and that is when it gets to the public. The amount of players leaving isn't higher, it's just more known because there are some well known names between them, so it looks like it are a lot of people.

Dream Team
Since this month, the new group Dream Team suddenly popped up at Market with a huge base in the Mall. Nobody heard of them before and they don't have a section at the group Forums, they are just there with an in-game base to provide some fun for players. Joining is only possible if you are being invited by any of the leaders, so don't bother PMing anyone for it.

When did you join LS-RCR?
I joined LS-RCR for the first time early in 2009, after a while I stopped playing the game and didn't really start playing again before late 2012/early 2013.
How did you join LS-RCR?
I joined LS-RCR when my brother randomly searched for servers and found this one, and then I joined again when he got staff or something like that.
What did you think when you just joined LS-RCR?
When I joined LS-RCR I was just running around as a terrorist, that used to be a class you could be, just like hitman, rapist f.ex. I was really young at that time so I didn't really understand the game. When I joined back in 2012 I was really excited because of the community, there were so many nice guys and I got a lot of friends. Getting army back then made me more excited than getting mod, I guess that explains how much I loved this server.
How long have you been here?
I have been here for 3-4 years on this account.
What are your hobby's?
On my spare time I usually hang out with friends.
Do you have any titles or ranks that you are proud of?
I'm proud that I got the opportunity to become a game administrator.
What do you love the most about LS-RCR?
I love the community, simple. I would not play this game if it wasn't for all the nice guys you can talk to here, the gameplay itself is irrelevant.
What do you hate the most of LS-RCR?
I hate when I get arrested, don't know why I get so tilted.
What do you like the most about being an Administrator?
I like helping people and I like banning hackers.
What do you hate the most about being an Administrator?
When people just spam your name and when you reply to them they simply say "Never mind". That pisses me off.
How did you become Administrator?
I got moderator level 1 from Onzie last summer if I remember correctly, then I got level 4 from Drastic after he got head admin.

Usually administrators have to monitor a lot of stuff that happens in-game and on the forums. Reports, cheaters, tag applications or any other inquire a player has. By taking care of simple questions like 'How to rob a shop' or 'How do i arrest someone' is already enough. I would say that they did improve the help around the server and they gave the tag a bit more importance aswell.

If you mean by the gameplay in general (as cops and robbers) - I would change and update a few features. More criminal-sided updates, new law enforcement arresting system, weather updates, removal of 2 shot bug etc. But that's not for me to decide. First it has to be approved by seniors and let community members see what they think.
The only thing that i dislike is that we (the admins) gets bashed a lot most of the time. I mean, yeah sometimes we make mistakes, we're all human but keep in mind that we do this as voluntary work just to help and keep the server running smoothly.
