N editions "are the same as their equivalent full versions, but do not include Windows Media Player or other Windows Media-related technologies, such as Windows Media Center and Windows DVD Maker due to limitations set by the European Union and South Korea, respectively". source: Wikipedia

Personally, I'd go for GNU/Linux since you can game there too and it's completely free. Additionally, Lord Gaben has stated that GNU/Linux is the future of PC gaming. However, if you still wish to go for Windows 7, install the 64 bit version and make sure that you DO NOT install the KB3068708 update. It's a lame move by M$ with which they want to spy on you even if you're using Windows 7. I guess you get my point.

Thank you Jaker! I will go with Windows 7 professional without N version! A friend gave me a school page where can I download Windows 7 for free with license.

One more thing, I need to back up files before installing Windows 7 right? Otherwise I will loose everything.
