A Note to Everyone
Hello,
Firstly, We would like to thank you all for your continued support and dedication at Ls-rcr through all these years. It is thanks to all of you that we have been able to evolve a SA-MP server into a diverse and versatile community that extends beyond the server and makes it what it is today, Ls-rcr. We'd love to go in the specifics of what we’ve accomplished thus far, but that isn’t what we're here to talk about today. Today is about something different... An issue we believe the community can help us with as it has since our founding in 2006.
Up until a few months ago, we observed a lot of enthusiasm and as a result, the donations kept pouring in. This prompted us to work for the server’s betterment and as a result, we worked on and released a series of updates which we believed would provide for an enhanced experience for all the players here at Ls-rcr.
Despite our increased efforts, we started seeing less donations and while this worried us, we continued with updates for the server and the website. This had little to no effect on the donations and they kept shrinking. We relied upon eventuality and felt it would work out and we’d scrape by for we believe that there are up’s and down’s every now and then and we can’t let that destroy what we have built together.
The only thing is, this time around, it has caused extensive damage and while it saddens us to say this, the cost for our hosting needs wasn’t covered for the last two months and that if in case we fall short this time around, We will have to call for a complete shutdown of all services including the SA-MP server, the Ls-rcr website and TeamSpeak server for it just won’t be possible for us to continue with this.
We really didn’t want it to come to this but it seems it has and that is why we’ve reached out to you, the community, to support us in this time of need. We’ve updated the donation page with a monthly goal which will show how you, the community members have helped and how much more you can do to keep Ls-rcr above water.
