Marvelo Scandal

Marvelo, now a former Community supporter, has been banned from both forums and in game. It all started when his score was reset and he had his tag removed as well as some stats due to him score boosting. This was a shock to everyone in the community since he did not give off the typical score booster impression to anyone. Like most bad news, it had an undesired impact on the person affected, in this case Marvelo. His attitude changed from a nice guy to someone who was resentful of those that had his tag removed, and also to those who had the tag that he so much desired. He would connect to the game and talk about random topics, being incoherent most of the time. In the forums, his attitude was similar. Anyhow, at that point in time the subject in question was not banned neither from forums nor the game; the only punishments were the ones listed above, which were aimed at resetting the score that he received illegibly. Marvelo was one of three leaders of an upcoming official group named "The Craftsmen". The group was gaining popularity and all three of the leaders had rights in the forums to control who was in the group, as well as many other options. This is where it all took a turn for the worse.

For reasons yet unknown, but most likely a build up of rage and frustration due to the punishments imposed onto him, he decided to "play around" in the forum. A group of users started noticing that there was more than one cyan-colored username on the posts, color which is now used to represent SWAT commander and high officials. He didn't stop there, after setting several usernames to that color, he proceeded to add them into a "Group Administrator" forum group, which wore the unusual color of yellow. While this may seem like a minor offense to some, this foolery lead to many users who were already sporting different colors for their usernames to lose said feature. The forums were set in an unstable stage, and many users were left wondering where their color went, as well as some group privileges. Needless to say, the staff team handled this with upmost reaction speed, posting an official topic explaining what happened and how one could contact them to have his privileges readjusted. The leak on the forums was fixed, but Marvel spray-painted a bulls-eye on his forehead that will not be erased for a long time.

He was a good guy, but he got misled by the tag and an illusion of power over others. With this said, we hope he will realize his mistake and eventually make a return to the server and regain everyone's trust, but that will not be taking place anytime soon. For that time period, we'd like to encourage other players to refrain from committing the same mistake that he did, and avoid more reputations from being tarnished.

The Ls-rcr love story

Zoroark has been trucking with rain22 for some while now. We wish them best of luck as they move on to a time of soap dropping and bigger, and harder challenges.

All jokes aside, these members are being missed in the community but fortunately they are able to remain in contact and even connect to the server every once in a while. Zoroark has shared some pictures on the forums, go check them out if you haven't done so! They are about some trucks that were destroyed and were rendered useless, pretty cool to look at to be honest.

Once again, we wish them the best for their trip and hopefully we'll get to see them again soon!

The latest info on groups

Army:

There's been new additions to the Army teams, fresh soldiers by the names of "OG.Loc" and "[E]xo". Applicants did well in their respective tests and scored a good impression among existing members and the Generals, which lead them to being accepted into the deadly military force. Outstanding shooting and flying skills are traits that both of these users share, and they are some of the reasons that make the military life a perfect fit. We wish them the best of luck and we take advantage of this opportunity to remind them to constantly re-read the rules as there are often updates in such a large faction like Army.

Swat:

A great publicity video was released by G.W.L. There haven't been any accepted applications in this week, however there's been several applications denied due to them being invalid. We urge members to read the SWAT rules and FAQ, not only because rules are important by themselves, but also because they are topics which will help you with making a correct application. We also suggest applicants to team with existing members so that said officers can evaluate their skills and get to know the applicants. With that said, best of luck to everyone and good luck!

Pagati:

Pagati continues to keep improving with its ever-growing RP experience, now present not only in-game but on the forums as well. Good leadership is key and the mafia seems to have found just that. Working as a team to achieve their goals as an administrative force, they organize events and RP scenarios that at least I have never seen before, especially in a CNR server. The way applications work at Pagati is also a very interesting topic to write about, and even makes me consider joining the faction to have this experience myself. We wish them best of luck with their endeavors and for them to continue expanding good quality roleplay among our community's members!

Stunt Kings:

G.W.L has posted a Stunt kings promotional video that blew everyone's head off, just like he did for SWAT as well. The video featured stunts, bikes and everything that relates to Stunt Kings. It's always good to have some sort of putting yourself out there and for groups this is especially true. Videos like this convince other players from giving the group a try and G.W.L has received all the deserved praise for his latest creations. The Stunt Kings' Stunt School remains to take applicants at a low level and infuse skill into them, in areas like NRG stunting as well as general concepts regarding stunting. Stay on this road!

Akatsuki:

Akatsuki has had some nice signatures by NiceGuy. The graphics feature some animations on a large, proportional fonts with features of the members of the group watched by many in the animes Naruto & Naruto Shippuden. Their quality is undisputed and the experience gained by NiceGuy will surely prove valuable as many members ask him for private signatures for themselves. The group continues to train in areas like shooting, driving, flying, and more, but shooting is what it's best known for. Criminals that have no remorse whatsoever, their goal is to control the state of San Andreas and the world and they can't do that without outstanding training and hours put into practice.

Anime Brigade

The Anime Brigade continues to be a storehouse of "weebs" but happy ones at that. Being one of the members of this peculiar group, I can state that the group remains to be active and members interact with each other frequently, discussing their favorite illustrations not only on paper but those designed for a screen as well. Members are very enthusiastic and passionate and engage in blood-boiling discussions as to which the best anime is and why, often encouraging others to watch more content to voice an informed opinion on the subject.

LSPD United:

LSPD United continues to be active and now features a testing process in place. Many members of a high caliber have been selected to test applicants wishing to gain access into this exclusive leo-only faction. With a well positioned base and a convenient spawn with all the required weapons for an officer, as well as fast and agile vehicles ready to be used, are reasons that make this group a must for officers of the law. Applications are now re-opened and member ranks have been re-established as well. Go check it out for yourself and climb to the top!

Mountain Bike Riders:

Mountain Bike Riders, or MBR for short, is a new group that aims to connect players with an interest in cop-hunting and bicycles and to help each other improve. Their base is apparently completed and the final stages in the process of merging the base into the server are taking place, according to the group's high officials. We wish them good luck and are anxious to look at how the base looks!

Taxi Drivers

Taxi drivers, a sensational unofficial group that rose to stardom, is now losing popularity somewhat. However, members can be still seen representing the driver uniforms and continue to connect their passengers to their destinations in the shortest possible time and in the most elegant way possible. Contact them if you need to get somewhere fast, and look good in the process.

Terrorists:

The terrorists seem to continue to plan to wreck havoc in the server. They are still active, and with powerful vehicles at their perfectly located base, they continue to kill anyone that gets in their way in the city of Los Santos. Their weapons expertise make them a very high threat in the city of Los Santos and we were informed that law enforcement officers are planning on ways of shutting their operations down for good.

Unofficial groups:

Unofficial groups such as "The Traitors", "Ls-rcr Cophunters" and "The Klub" are new additions to the group scene. Funny enough, they all feature a cop-hunting theme, a very common theme as it is seen on many other groups. However, the leaders insist on adding their own personal touch to their tasks and giving their members an unique experience. Check them out if you wanna hear what they're about, or if you want to join a growing group. Who knows, maybe with the right time invested you can lead that group one day!

Conclusion

That's it for this week. You've now completed reading the 1600+ words in this in depth section of the Newspaper. If you've read the article in its entirety, we congratulate you!
