The server inactivity isn't because of banned players, a global unban was done not long ago, and many users were given a chance to return, some wasted that chance by breaking the rules again and were permanently banned and some truly primed up and prove they are worth it.

As for the inactivity, even if we unbanned the remaining banned players (which I believe is only around five players max who are actually willing to come back), it still wouldn't help bring the server back to its former level of activity, San Andreas is an old game, and many players have moved on to newer games, every day, new games are released, and over time, people get bored or want to try something more modern and advanced.

GTA 6 is also on the way, I believe every game has its own era, and it's only a matter of time before something new comes along and people make the switch.
I see what you're saying, and you're right that unbanning alone isn't enough to fully revive the server, but your own example kind of proves the point, even though you were unbanned and came back, it still didn’t help bring the server back to its former activity level. So clearly, the issue isn’t just about who's banned or not.

The real issue is deeper than a few players. Many already moved on as the game is aging and unless there’s something fresh to offer like new content, a real reason to stay engaged and people won’t stick around, no matter how many are unbanned. So while unbanning might help a little, it’s definitely not the magic solution some might think it is. We're way past the point where just bringing back a handful of players can flip the switch.

So yeah, I agree with you overall, but it’s important to realize the situation goes way beyond bans at this point.

Cover, by the way you was banned for aimbot as I remember, and you applied too much to get back to the server and at the end you got your chance and didn't waste it, but there is other people are also banned for same reason and still didn't got their chance or people banned for first time using hack and still didn't get a chance? so you know how banned people are really want to get back, and you know how they feel. hope you understand this

At the very least, if someone’s account is locked or permanently banned, they should be given a fair chance to request permission to create a new account especially if they are ready to prove that they’ve changed for the better. Mistakes are a part of life, and many people just need one more opportunity to show that they’ve learned from their past actions and are willing to follow the rules moving forward. A second chance doesn’t mean forgetting the past, it means recognizing growth and giving people the opportunity to make things right. There are many former players who really miss the community, not because they want to break the rules again, but because they truly want to return, have fun, and be a positive part of something they once enjoyed. Some of them feel regret for what happened and are even willing to accept strict conditions just to prove themselves again. Ignoring these people completely closes the door on what could be good, loyal, and responsible members of the server. Right now, the server is clearly struggling. The player base is low, and on most days, we only see 10 to 15 active players. That’s not enough to keep things alive or exciting. Bringing back players who are genuinely reformed and have learned from their mistakes can help bring back the energy, competition, and fun that the server used to have. These returning members can even become examples for others, showing that change is possible and that the community welcomes growth and fairness. This is not about ignoring rules or letting anyone do whatever they want. It’s about having balance, keeping the server safe while also giving those who truly care a way to return, one that supports second chances for those who prove they’ve earned it. If handled the right way, this approach could help the server grow again, boost activity, and create a more welcoming environment for both old and new players

We did a global unban like 2 years ago... 90% of the jackasses who were unbanned cheated again. On top of that, a global unban means @monster@, Rollen, and so many other total annoyances who lied and lied and lied and spammed and spammed and spammed would be back. By no means do I want users who are very well known for being annoying pieces of waste coming back. Zero support. We need an update, not unbans.

These returning members can even become examples for others, showing that change is possible. For example, our moderator Cover was banned permanently before for Aimbot and got the chance to play again when he applied in Special Unban 2022. Now, he has proved himself.

Why do you only see the bad side when you have someone who was using Aimbot /keybind and see know they improved himself and you saying need a update, For sure they won't work on any updates because there's no one active like old days and you can check now how many people In-Game ,

Secondly, I say that we are trying as much as possible to give them one last chance, and I know that this is not the real reason for the server to be active again, but we are here to help each other...,

Thirdly, I think that we should at least change this rule to be banned permanently why would we do it ? This of course makes you frustrated and we can modify it and increase the length of the punishment like if someone cheated + 365 days but don't permanently because he can back and improve himself.... Thanks and I hope y'all understand my point

Players who were recently banned or have been a major headache for just about everyone, like @monster@, Rollen, Counselor aka Bcar, etc... should not be considered for the Global Unban.
The Global Unban should be for those who haven't caused major issues for the staff and have stayed out of trouble, especially those who have been banned for a long time, such as a year or more.

Cover was banned at a time when any ban for cheating for forever. Cover matured and proved himself. Cover, as far as I know, never evaded his ban.

Rollen, @monster@, and Bcar have all been banned multiple times. All claimed they changed then proved they didn't. All have never matured, never even TRIED to be better, and have a very very VERY long history of ban evading. @monster@ is still ban evading.

The difference is some people truly deserve a second chance, but most need to remain in the abyss. It took forever to get some jackasses banned, and if I have to put up with Ls-rcr unbanning @monster@, Rollen, and Bcar then I'm either leaving, or DEMANDING staff allow me to violate every single fucking rule against them (and only them) because god knows they have broken enough rules against me for this life and the next.
