You have the GPU in... but you're still plugging your video cables into your motherboard's on board VGA port? That's why you aren't getting any video. Plug the VGA cable into the back of your GPU, not your MOBO.

I haven't got my graphic card plugged in as you can see there's two slots open because i've sent it back to get it tested but there wasn't any faulty with it. Also i ain't fucking stupid to plug my DVI/VGA cables into my mobo instead of the GPU.

First of all don't straight buy the cable make sure if your -
Monitor supports DVI-I or DVI-D
GPU supports DVI-I or DVI-D

And keep in mind you can plug DVI-I male to DVI-D female but not vice versa.

There is not really big difference between DVI-I or DVI-D just DVI-D supports bigger resolution while DVI-I supports only 1920x1080 max.

And there we go you have to decide whether buy DVI-I or DVI-D - I suggest you to buy DVI-I cheaper and fits to every DVI slot even dual link.
Besides that if your monitor is older and got VGA then just buy VGA to DVI-I cable that means you plug VGA to monitor and DVI-I to videocard.
My Monitor doesn't support DVI It supports a DVI-D.

Your GPU must support DVI-D too, If yes just buy a dvi-d cable.

Never said you were mate, I'm just trying to help. No need for attitude.

Don't see any of us complaining after the 5 or 6 topics you've created about graphics cards, and we've all been happily helping you, pages upon pages of replies, research, information, and (tech) support. The least any of us deserve is a thanks every once and again, not your attitude.

It's just because I'm fed up can't seem to find any solution. And anyways thanks for everyone who tried to help me, I'm going to go for another graphic card and see if that works.
