Hi Guys, My Broadband Contract is ending soon in some time (29/12/2016) and I was looking on a Store website that is in my Country and basically I came across a few Routers and I saw this one.

http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/netgear-night ... uter-a66tf
And I was wondering How TF do I set this up?

Like does it come with Internet built inside it or what?
only reason I want this is because the providers in the UK give Limited Broadband, The max it can go to is like 200MBPS but Unfortunately It is so Expensive... Around ($50-80) A month for a 18 Month Contract, Lets Just do 65x18 Okay?. Thats 1170 Dollars for a Year and a Half... That is really expensive and in Fuckin USA U can get Google Fiber for less than 100 Dollars.

So my main question is, How do I set this up? (http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/netgear-night ... uter-a66tf), I have a Telephone line in my House and most Routers use this shit. Also My contract is only 18MBPS, I only get like 10 MBPS with like fukin 0.80 Upload Speed... Is it my modem that is limited to 18 or is it the router? Also because this might be a Fiber Connection what Will I have to do? (UK People only unless u know this shit) Ik this is all complicated but yeh....

I get close to 300mpb/s down and nearly 80mpb/s up.

Who are you going to be changing to?

Depending on your area, I suggest Virgin Media - Kissane and myself are both with them and we're both well into the hundred+ download speeds.

If you're going with them, the stock router is pretty decent and I get 100mbp/s on my phone when running a speed test.

Also, going to move this to the tech forum just so you don't get trolled :)

Use the stock router you get from ISP. It will be easy for you to set up.

Depends who he's going with I'd have to disagree, some of the stock routers they give you are pretty shitty for WiFi depending on your walls in your house, cables that you've got running through them etc.

By WiFi extender, do you mean powerline or something that just re-creates the wifi signal?

Powerline I'd suggest hard-wiring the devices into, as the wifi on them can be shockingly bad sometimes..

Also, most companies that "promise" speeds can sometimes get away with it if they get you that at off-peak times (around 1-4 in the morning...) it's annoying but sadly the truth haha

Will check forum PMs once I'm home as well.
