Jesus... It's way better now. Staff team just needs to keep an eye on the current supporters and remove those who are not capable of handling situations. About the clearance of any question, the supporter may reply, "I'll forward your question and come back when I'm 100 percent sure"; he then talks to an admin or discuss on forum/in-game. (For that, supporters chat and supporters section on forum is needed) - This will do good trust me. Showing it to public will make it even worst.

This one is simple and will work nicely.

Guess I was the one that misunderstood the concept of supporters maybe, since everyone seems to be so convinced that staff members should keep an eye on them an andswer questions.

Maybe this gets accepted, but I see that many don't share what I am saying, but its all good.

Thanks for sharing the replies lol

i said that before

"Yes ,but most of them don't answer questions, what is the proplem if there is an admin did that steps when he don't got things to do :

1- Admin join the server with UC account
2- Admin use /ask and before he use /ask make sure that the player not AFK and staff can do that with the spector command what ever it is " /spector id " for example
3- Admin wait the answer and for sure he should ask a ez Q that anyone know it .
4-if the supporter replied " even after 15 min " then it will be fine unless he got a answer anyway
5- if the supporter didn't reply then the admin will join the day after it and do the same steps and see if the same supporter will not reply if he didn't reply again , then rights will be taken immediately .

or even admins don't need to do that , you can ask some of the players who are trusted to do this for you and record it or take SS if the supporter didn't reply in the first day and the second day ."

but i guess rally's suggest is good as well as his point is to let all the online players know the answer not just the player who used /ask so if someone got the same Q no need to use /ask again and again , cuase for sure the supporter will get bored at last .

I dislike Rally's suggestion because as e.e said the chat itself would get spammed and my other arguments which I'm too lazy to list them here (read all the replies). As for the "Supporter will get bored" shit; at anytime Supporters can ask A(SA)s to remove their rights if they don't wish to help anymore.

To be honest this will indeed help a lot. There are times where the supporters are ether getting the questions wrong or ignore the questions as a whole so this might have a better turnout then the system already in place. It doesn't strip the supporters of there task it only aids both the supporters and the newer player.

If it wasn't obvious +1

As a supporter,i will try to explain a job as a supporter.

Supporter is the speacial rights for tagged member,Even it is speacial it does not have power. The supporter rights is given for who is sincere in helping the players, sometimes I noticed that some players ignoring the player who is asking for help, that because we have a supporter, that is their job as well assisting admin for answering questions related to the server. If this added,i will say it is annoying,i mean get spammed. Some players don't care about it tho,we must respect them..so there is no problem for asking a question privately.

I will be completely honest here. I am not very fond of this "supporter" thing and I will try to explain why.

So right now the supporters' answers are not visible in the main chat and I believe it's wrong. I am 100% sure that there are players that don't know the rules perfectly and every once in a while a newbie asks a question in the mainchat and players (regardless of their supporter rank) answer. It's a good way to remind ourselves the rule in question.

Then again, moving the questions to the main chat is a good idea. Answers however...I feel that it's useless that only the supporters answer the question. What if I was a normal player and I'd see a question that a supporter answered? Does that mean I, as a regular player, cannot answer it? Maybe I can explain it better than the supporter did.

A supporter must support players, not be like a Ls-rcr Wikipedia. Go and assist the player that asked how to rob a store. Take him to the bank if he doesn't know where it is. Go next to him and explain using /w instead of bragging on the main chat that you know the rules. Everyone should know them.

I have a strong feeling that at least 50% of the Supporters have this weird idea in their heads that if they answer a lot of questions in the main chat they are one step closer to being a Moderator. This is what's all about for some of them. No offense and no names given.

I'm not saying to remove the Supporter rank, but to decide its real purpose. Be a part of a Wikipedia, or actually helping the player, assisting him in his early days in the server?

PS: To whoever said that he never asks a "regular" player questions regarding the server because "he knows better", I guess you learned from your mistakes, considering the fact that you have a few warnings and bans on your account. This is not the point! Instead of punching your chest like you're the almighty, teach others so that they don't make the mistakes you've done in the past.

Just because you have an additional command to your disposal doesn't mean that you are above "regular" players. Grow up!
